Here are 5 tips on how to get to where it is you want to go on this journey called life:
1. Follow and seek advice from passionate people
Found those who are extremely passionate about what they do. You can feel it from the moment you start talking to them. Their energy and vibe is infectious. I know I listen to a lot motivating, passionate people every day such as Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer and Louise Hayes. I know for me I want to go conquer the world after listening to them speak. It could be coworker, a family member, spend more time with those people.
2. Don't let set backs get in the way
There is never going to be a perfectjourney or path. That we all have to accept. With that being said, I am true believer of have your moment, feel what you feel and than there will be the time to move on from it. Do not let set backs, SET YOU BACK! Keep the positive movement forward no matter what the situation may be.
3.Set Small Goals
This one was huge for me as I always had 100 ideas that wanted to tackle in one day! Okay let's be real that can't possible happen or be very effective! Start by writing down what your goals are as a whole. Then break it down by year, month, week and than by day. Start with 5 minutes of jogging, writing, reading, business planning, whatever your goals may be. That will help you feel like you CAN achieve it and that it isn't so overwhelming. Nothing feels better than to check off an achieved goal off the list!
I know a lot of us women have a hard time taking time for ourselves instead of giving to our families, kids and even the dog or cat. I get it I do too and it's taken me years to do to figure this out. It is necessary to take time for you and not feel like you are being selfish. You will be a better mom, wife, girlfriend, worker and boss. Plus you will be happier person that will feel like they can tackle anything that comes at them.
5.Stop Making Excuses
We are all good at saying, "I don't have time" and 101 other excuses to why we can't achieve our goals and dreams. The reality is the only one who is stopping it from happening is YOU. Take responsibility for your life and choices you make. It is easy to blame circumstances or others. That is truly just a set back and won't get you further on your journey.
